Bad Luck Brian

Use Bad Luck Brian when careful preparation or hopeful effort is ruined by a specifically unlucky and embarrassing twist.

What it expresses: Someone does the sensible thing or expects an ordinary outcome, but improbable bad luck turns it into failure.
Example: I studied all night, and the exam covered the one topic I skipped.
When not to use it: Avoid when the failure was predictable, caused by obvious negligence, or merely disappointing without an unlucky reversal.
