MEME REFERENCE
Note passing
Use Note passing when an important motive, feeling, or action is being concealed.
- What it expresses
- Hidden reality: the concealed note moving between people who pretend not to communicate represents a moment where an important motive, feeling, or action is being concealed.
- Example
- For example, the cheerful update omits that the build has been broken all day; the visual analogy is the concealed note moving between people who pretend not to communicate, signaling that an important motive, feeling, or action is being concealed.
- When not to use it
- Avoid when nothing important is hidden; the concealed note moving between people who pretend not to communicate would incorrectly signal that an important motive, feeling, or action is being concealed.
