Use when someone looks around for a person, object, explanation, or expected activity that is conspicuously absent.

What it expresses: Arrival at an empty or unclear scene produces visible, searching confusion.
Example: You join the scheduled video call on time and find nobody else there, so you send this in the team chat.
When not to use it: You know exactly where everyone is and are simply waiting for them; the searching confusion would be false.
