MEME REFERENCE

I just think they're neat

Use to express uncomplicated, sincere enthusiasm for a specific thing without pretending to have a sophisticated argument for it.

What it expresses

A modest personal preference is defended by simple affection rather than analysis.

Example

When friends ask why you keep recommending an unfashionable old game, respond that you simply think it is neat.

When not to use it

You are comparing two products on price, durability, and warranty; the discussion calls for reasons rather than cheerful preference.
