MEME REFERENCE

3rd Place Celebration

Use 3rd Place Celebration when someone is celebrating a minor achievement with excessive enthusiasm.

What it expresses

The celebration's intensity contrasts with the insignificance of the accomplishment.

Example

For example, a student celebrating a 3rd place finish in a school competition.

When not to use it

Avoid 3rd Place Celebration when the situation lacks both celebration and minor; the image would suggest the wrong relationship.
