MEME REFERENCE

spongebob worship

Use to express comically excessive devotion to a person, product, idea, or small favor.

What it expresses: Admiration is inflated into full ceremonial reverence.
Example: A coworker brings the exact cable that saves the demo, and the team labels them as the object of worship.
When not to use it: You give proportionate, sincere thanks for substantial help; ordinary appreciation does not need exaggerated adoration.
