throw out of the window

Use throw out of the window when reaction collides with social contrast, and that mismatch becomes the point of the conversation.

What it expresses

throw out of the window frames reaction against social contrast, turning the contrast into a concise social reaction.

Example

For example, send throw out of the window when a conversation moves from reaction to social contrast and everyone notices the mismatch.

When not to use it

Avoid throw out of the window when the situation lacks both reaction and social contrast; the image would suggest the wrong relationship.
