Trojan Horse

Use Trojan Horse when an appealing surface hides manipulation or a harmful agenda.

What it expresses: Hidden intent: the gift-shaped horse concealing an invading force represents a moment where an appealing surface hides manipulation or a harmful agenda.
Example: For example, the free plugin quietly requests access to every customer record; the visual analogy is the gift-shaped horse concealing an invading force, signaling that an appealing surface hides manipulation or a harmful agenda.
When not to use it: Avoid when the offer is transparent and harmless; the gift-shaped horse concealing an invading force would incorrectly signal that an appealing surface hides manipulation or a harmful agenda.
