Imma Keep It Real With You Chief

Use when giving a blunt negative assessment without softening it

What it expresses

Giving a blunt negative assessment without softening it

Example

A friend asks whether their twelve-slide dating-app bio is charming, and you preface your honest rejection with this.

When not to use it

They asked for encouragement before a stressful event, not an evaluation; blunt negativity would serve no useful purpose.
