clown computer

Use when someone's online post, search, purchase, or argument makes them look foolish by their own hand.

What it expresses: Digital activity becomes a self-administered clown costume.
Example: A friend argues with an obvious parody account for an hour, and the group sends this computer-clown reaction.
When not to use it: A person is deceived by a sophisticated fraud despite reasonable caution; ridicule would unfairly blame the victim.
