# Elmo Choosing Cocaine — Meme Lab

Use Elmo Choosing Cocaine when elmo collides with childlike decision, and that mismatch becomes the point of the conversation.

- What it expresses: The absurdity of a child character making a decision that is completely outside their age-appropriate understanding of the world.
- Example: For example, when a young child claims to be making a serious decision about adult matters that they are not capable of understanding.
- When not to use it: Avoid when the character is actually capable of understanding the situation and the decision is within their age-appropriate context.
