# skinner telescope — Meme Lab

Use skinner telescope when focus collides with understanding, and that mismatch becomes the point of the conversation.

- What it expresses: A telescope's focus contrasts with the observer's lack of understanding.
- Example: For example, when someone tries to understand something but fails.
- When not to use it: Avoid skinner telescope when the situation lacks both focus and understanding; the image would suggest the wrong relationship.
