# Lorax Money — Meme Lab

Use when someone abandons environmental, ethical, or stated values as soon as profit becomes available.

- What it expresses: Principles disappear at the moment money offers a stronger incentive.
- Example: A brand drops its no-ads promise after one lucrative sponsorship offer, and users respond with the money-focused Lorax.
- When not to use it: A company rejects profitable work because it violates its published standards; the choice preserves rather than sells out its values.
