# FLOODING THUMBS UP — Meme Lab

Use when someone signals that everything is fine while the situation visibly deteriorates around them.

- What it expresses: A reassuring gesture clashes with an emergency that is already impossible to ignore.
- Example: The release dashboard turns red across every service, and the on-call engineer sends this thumbs-up to the team chat.
- When not to use it: A small issue is contained and the status report accurately says it is stable; the irony requires worsening conditions.
