# My child will — Meme Lab

Use when competing influences imagine very different futures for the same person.

- What it expresses: Two sides project opposing expectations onto someone who has not chosen either path.
- Example: One parent planned violin lessons while the other quietly ordered the child a drum kit.
- When not to use it: Avoid when everyone agrees on the future or the person has already made an independent choice.
