# So anyway I started blasting — Meme Lab

Use when someone skips deliberation and responds to a problem with immediate, excessive, chaotic action.

- What it expresses: A brief setup jumps straight to an overreaction with no measured intermediate step.
- Example: Asked how they handled one spam email, your friend says they blocked the entire company domain: 'Anyway, I started blasting.'
- When not to use it: A team investigates carefully and applies the smallest effective fix; restraint is the opposite of blasting.
