# Poor Squidward vs Rich Spongebob — Meme Lab

Use when contrasting scarcity and luxury in the same situation

- What it expresses: Two people experience the same event with vastly different resources
- Example: Compare your free-tier video call that ends at forty minutes with a client's lavish all-day conferencing suite.
- When not to use it: Both people receive the same resources and experience, leaving no scarcity-luxury contrast.
