# Allow us to introduce ourselves — Meme Lab

Use Allow us to introduce ourselves when introduction collides with role clarification, and that mismatch becomes the point of the conversation.

- What it expresses: The situation where someone is trying to establish their identity or role in a group without being directly asked.
- Example: For example, when a person is trying to explain their role in a group without being prompted to do so.
- When not to use it: Avoid when the person is not trying to establish their identity and the situation is not relevant to their role.
